Pastor Shawn leads a bible study class.
SERIOUS ANSWERS TO HARD QUESTIONS hosted by Bishop Kenneth Carder Life presents us with a lot of hard questions. In this thought- provoking and inspiring course, ten leading theologians— including N.T. Wright, Scott Jones, and Richard Hayes— address ten issues that are obstacles to faith for many both in and outside of the church. Among the many vital questions addressed are: Did the early church misunderstand Jesus? • Is The DaVinci Code historical fact or fiction? • How should we relate to people of other faiths? • How do we study science in relation to our beliefs? • How should Christians think about the “Old Testament God?” Each session will feature a DVD presentation, as well as time for discussion. So, plan to join us
